Subaru Says So Long to the Tribeca After 2014

Every car in the new Subaru stands out and has its own unique set of characteristics, while also embodying the brand's commitment toward offering rugged and reliable vehicles that can serve a variety of purposes. As the automaker looks to the future, sometimes, tough decisions have to be made, and in the case of the Tribeca, Subaru has decided to discontinue it.

At Subaru of Orange Park, we'll be sad to see it go, as the three-row SUV did offer quite a bit, but, we also understand the move. Production of the 2014 edition will end in January, and for the time being will move forward with other offerings. That doesn't mean there isn't a potential for a three-row SUV to come back to the lineup in the future. In fact, some reports suggest Subaru is working on crafting a replacement for the Tribeca. We'll just have to wait and see where that goes, however.

These days, we've certainly seen plenty of people opting for a utility vehicle of a different kind: the Subaru Forester. The new and refreshed model has been leading the charge as the automaker is set to experience its fifth straight year of sales increases. It's also racked up some of the highest honors you can get in terms of safety from IIHS, along with many other Subaru models in our Jacksonville, FL showroom.
